If you want to be successful, it is just this simple, Know what you are doing, Love what you are doing, and Believe what you are doing. Will Rogers amp;nbsp;
Dear Rockdale Families, Dear Rockdale Families, Welcome to the 2016-17 school year! This is an exciting time to be at Rockdale! We have many new faces within our student body and staff, and we are looking forward to getting to know everyone. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to the following staff members new to Rockdale: Kylee Carder- Kindergarten Teacher Chrisann Lamb- Music Teacher Cheyenne Osmundsen- 3rd Grade Teacher Tonya Lacy- Special Services Assistant Maria Epperson- Special Services Assistant Tina Wilson- Special Services Assistant We have been working hard to form a strong team and prepare the best possible learning environment for your child. We need your help to do this! We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. We will have Rockdale 101 on Monday, August 15th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. I will share with you expectations and procedures for this school year at this time. Your child’s teacher will also have a brief presentation for parents that will cover information about the classroom expectations and procedures. This will be an opportunity to learn more about Rockdale. Our school-wide theme this year is Go for the Gold! We have busily been preparing to engage the students of Rockdale through a variety of ways. We believe the education our students receive has the potential to open a multitude of doors for success in the future. We will continue to focus on “The 7 Habits for Happy Kids.” Teaching these habits will help students embrace life principles that promote leadership and success. It is an honor to serve you! I consider it a true blessing to have the opportunity to work with you and your children. If you have any questions, concerns, or if you would like to visit further, please feel free to stop by the school anytime. My door is always open… Warm Regards, Andrea Berry Principal
