Miami Public Schools is excited to announce that as of Wednesday, February 22, 2017, we officially began utilizing Mosaic, a new child nutrition software. This will result in several changes/updates. They are as follows:
You will be able to pay on your student’s lunch account at one school site when you have children in different schools throughout the district. You must designate how much each child’s account will receive.
The Administration building (Central Office) will not be taking monies for student lunches.
Students must have money in their account in order to purchase ala carte items, which includes milk at the elementary level.
Parents will still receive a low balance alert when the student’s account is negative.
Students may only charge the equivalent of five (5) lunch meals. Reduced is $.40 for lunch district-wide. Elementary full pay lunch is $1.60. Secondary full pay lunch is $1.85.
For 3rd through 12th graders only: After they have charged the equivalent of five (5) lunch meals, per board policy, they will receive an alternate meal. Students will start receiving alternate meals if they have charged up to the maximum amount on Monday, February 27, 2017.
You will be able to pay online via a website or an app called MySchoolBucks starting Monday, March 20, 2017. There will be more information available about online payment on the school website Miami.k12.ok.us.
